Rules & Regulations

All participants are required to read and understand these terms and conditions (the “Terms & Conditions”) before registering for PLN Electric Run 2026. Please note that a participant is any party who receives an official confirmation email from PLN Electric Run 2026 confirming their entry as a participant of PLN Electric Run 2026, whether through online registration or any other registration program offered by PLN Electric Run 2026 (the “Participant”).

  1. By registering for the PLN Electric Run 2026 race (the “Race”), the Participant is deemed to have fully accepted, and is obligated to comply with, these Terms & Conditions.
  2. The race distance categories to be contested are 21.0975 KM (“Half Marathon”), 10 KM (“10K”), and 5 KM (“5K”).
  3. Race registration is open to both Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign nationals (WNA) who hold a valid passport.
  4. Indonesian citizen (“WNI”) participants are eligible to win in the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K race categories, which are divided into men’s and women’s categories (“Podium”). In addition, there are also winners for senior WNI participants, divided into men’s and women’s categories (“Master”). Foreign national (“WNA”) participants agree and understand that their participation in the PLN Electric Run 2026 10K and 5K categories is non-competitive, and therefore they are not eligible to win the Race.
  5. The minimum age requirement to participate in the Race is 17 (seventeen) years old for the Half Marathon, and 14 (fourteen) years old for the 10K and 5K. Participants must meet the minimum age requirement on race day (8 November 2026) (“Race Day”). WNI participants aged 40 (forty) years or older on Race Day are eligible for the Master category. Registered participants over 65 years old are not covered by insurance and, with full awareness, agree to bear any risks that may arise from their participation in PLN Electric Run 2026.
  6. Participants under 17 (seventeen) years old on Race Day are required to submit a parental consent letter when collecting their race pack. The letter template can be downloaded HERE.
  7. Participants are advised to seek medical advice from a doctor regarding their health condition before participating in the Race. Participants acknowledge and accept that their participation in the Race carries potential risks and hazards, including but not limited to accidents, physical injury, health problems, paralysis, death, property damage, and/or other losses, as well as other risks that are presently unknown and cannot reasonably be foreseen (“Risks and Hazards”). Risks and Hazards may arise from, among other things, the acts or omissions of the Participant or of other persons, and/or the condition of facilities and/or equipment, natural conditions and/or weather, and/or Force Majeure conditions (as defined below).
  8. The organizer of the PLN Electric Run (the “Race Organizer”) shall not be liable for any harm and/or losses caused by, among other things, the following:
  • The occurrence of Risks and Hazards;
  • Arriving late for the Race;
  • Pre-existing medical conditions;
  • Accidents occurring during the race;
  • Loss and/or damage to personal property during the race; and/or
  • Force Majeure (as defined below).
  1. While maintaining an active lifestyle during pregnancy is encouraged, the Race Organizer requires pregnant participants to disclose their condition, submit a doctor’s letter, and sign a statement letter before participating in the race, or no later than one (1) week before the race, by email. A sample statement letter can be downloaded HERE. The Race Committee is not responsible for complications or health issues that may arise from participating while pregnant, and may withdraw a participant from the race for health reasons.
  2. The Participant expressly and exclusively grants the organizer and its assigns an irrevocable right to use the Participant’s name, likeness, and biography, whether factual or otherwise, in connection with the production, distribution, and publication of images, photographs, and other intellectual property related to PLN Electric Run 2026, worldwide, on any and all devices, media, or publications.
  3. Copyright and other intellectual property rights (if any) in images, photographs, articles, timing records, and location information relating to PLN Electric Run 2026, together with the right to use such materials for TV broadcast, newspapers, magazines, the internet, and other media or publications, belong to the organizer. Such use also includes, but is not limited to, the Participant’s name and other personal information such as age and address (country, province, and city).
  1. By registering for the Race, the Participant acknowledges, accepts, and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
  2. Participants may only register for the Race once.
  3. Submitting a registration through the official PLN Mobile app (and any special link provided by the Race Organizer for other programs, if applicable) is deemed to constitute acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  4. A payment confirmation email, together with a registration ID number, will be sent once our system has successfully received and verified the Participant’s payment.
  5. The Race Organizer reserves the right to close registration before the registration deadline and/or once the race quota has been reached.
  6. Participants agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information on the registration form. Participants are responsible for all information provided. The Race Organizer may contact Participants from time to time by email. Any notice sent by the Race Organizer to the email address registered with the Race Organizer shall be deemed to have been received by the Participant.
  1. Participants must be able to complete the full distance of their respective category, from the official start line to the official finish line, within the time required by the Race Organizer (Cut Off Time). Please note that the calculation of official race times is at the sole discretion of the Race Organizer.
  2. Cut Off Times and minimum age requirements differ for each race category.
  3. The bib number is a unique personal identifier assigned to the Participant and may not be exchanged and/or transferred.
  4. The sale and/or transfer of race entries or bib numbers is prohibited; any violation will result in disqualification and/or a ban on the individuals involved from participating in future events.
  5. Bib numbers will be issued upon submission of the race registration confirmation and an identification card. Bib numbers must be clearly visible throughout the race. The Organizer has the authority to withhold a bib number and race pack under certain circumstances, such as a violation of these Terms & Conditions, indications of falsification, and/or other similar circumstances.
  6. The start corral for each category will close at gun start or when the starting signal for that category is given. Participants who are not in the start corral for their category when the signal is given will not be permitted to start and will be given DNS (Did Not Start) status.
  7. Participants who engage in unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to blocking and/or obstructing other Participants along the run course, will be automatically disqualified from the Race.
  8. Drink stations are available along the run course and at the finish line. Fruit stations are available along the Half Marathon and 10K run course and at the finish line. Water-spray stations are available along the Half Marathon run course.
  9. No unofficial vehicles, bicycles, in-line skates, skateboards, baby joggers, wheelchairs, or strollers (of any kind) are permitted on the run course.
  10. No animals, whether leashed or unleashed, are permitted on the run course.
  11. Participants must not wear clothing or equipment that could cause harm, injury, or danger to themselves and/or other Participants. Participants must not run with their face covered.
  12. Participants must not dress inappropriately for a sporting event or wear clothing that is inappropriate toward other Participants or spectators.
  13. Participants must not wear clothing intended for political or religious statements, propaganda, or advertising purposes.
  14. Participants must not use any attribute that could cause other Participants to mistake it for a signal and/or that could confuse other Participants and/or the Race Organizer, and must not use any device at a volume that could disturb other Participants.
  15. Participants must not engage in conduct that causes delays to the Race, such as dancing, performing, playing instruments, or standing near the start or finish line, or on the roads along the run course.
  16. The Race Organizer is not responsible for any form of fundraising conducted by Participants in connection with the PLN Electric Run event. Responsibility for such activities rests solely with the Participant concerned.
  17. Participants must not prevent pedestrians from crossing, or obstruct the passage of emergency vehicles, at designated points where and when they are permitted to cross or pass.
  18. Race time will be displayed at the start and finish lines.
  19. The Race Organizer will implement Cut Off Points for certain race categories. More detailed information regarding the location and time of each Cut Off Point will be announced separately by the Race Organizer.
  20. Participants who fail to meet the Cut Off Time and Cut Off Points, as well as Participants who are disqualified, shall be deemed not to have completed the Race and are not entitled to a finisher medal.
  21. Participants must not obstruct or disrupt the race by failing to comply with instructions from the organizer and/or race officials. Violation of this rule may be grounds for disqualifying the participant from the race.
  22. The Race Organizer reserves the right to stop a Participant from continuing the Race if the Participant behaves inappropriately during the Race, and that Participant will be disqualified from the Race.
  23. Carrying items that could hinder the smooth running of the race or the safety of other Participants, or that could cause danger or risk of harm to themselves or other participants, is prohibited.
  24. Road safety is controlled by the relevant police department and transportation services. Medical services are provided by the Race Organizer in cooperation with local hospitals and medical personnel. Medical personnel are authorized to stop any Participant whom they deem medically unable to continue the Race.
  25. Timing is arranged for each category. All Participants will be issued a bib number with a timing chip to be worn during the Race. Checkpoints will be placed at the start/finish line and at designated timing points to ensure all Participants follow the official race course. Participants who fail to follow the official race course will be disqualified from the Race.
  26. Participants who win the Race (“Winners”) must wear their registered timing chip and corresponding bib number. Winners must provide proof of identification to receive their prize.
  27. Winners who are unable to provide valid proof of identification may be disqualified and will not receive a prize.
  28. From time to time, the Race Organizer may amend these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion without prior notice. Participants are therefore required to regularly review the Terms & Conditions whenever accessing or using the PLN Mobile app and/or the official PLN Electric Run website.
  29. Matters not covered in these Terms & Conditions will be determined at a later time by the Race Organizer.
  1. Race packs cannot be shipped and cannot be collected on Race Day.
  2. If a Participant is found to be registered under the same name in two different categories, the Race Organizer reserves the right to withhold all bib numbers and race packs, and to disqualify the Participant from the Race.
  3. Bib numbers and race packs may be collected by a Participant’s representative (“Race Pack Collector”), provided they bring the complete required documents: a printed letter of authorization, the race pack collection ticket email, and printed identification of both the grantor and the recipient of the authorization. The letter of authorization template can be downloaded HERE.
  4. A participant’s representative may collect a maximum of 3 (three) race packs in a single queue.
  5. The Committee has the authority to withhold a Race Pack and its entire contents (including the bib number), and to disqualify a Participant from the Race, if there is any indication of a violation of these Terms & Conditions, such as duplicate registration, identity falsification, or other similar circumstances.
  6. Information regarding the race pack collection schedule, including bib numbers, will be communicated further via an official notification email from the Organizer.
  1. The winner is the participant who successfully completes the race by crossing the finish line with the fastest recorded (gun) time.
  2. Winners must use the bib number and timing chip registered under their own name, and must provide valid proof of identification to receive their prize.
  3. Winners who are unable to provide valid proof of identification during the verification process will be disqualified from the race and will not be entitled to be declared a winner or to receive a prize.
  4. Prospective winners must report to the verification tent no later than 30 minutes after completing the race. Prospective winners who fail to report to the verification tent without providing a reason to the committee may be disqualified from the race. An exception may be granted if the prospective winner is receiving treatment from the medical team.
  5. WNI participants under 40 (forty) years old on race day have the opportunity to win the Open/National podium, which will be determined automatically based on the official recorded race time.
  6. WNI participants aged 40 (forty) years or older on race day have the opportunity to win the Master podium, which will be determined automatically based on the official recorded race time.
  7. Foreign national (“WNA”) participants are only eligible to win the Open podium in the Half Marathon category, which will be determined automatically based on the official race time results.
  8. Cash prizes awarded to winners are subject to tax under applicable government regulations, to be borne entirely by each respective winner.
  1. Registration fees are non-refundable. The Race Organizer reserves the right to reject a confirmed registration if the registration form is found to contain untrue, false, and/or incomplete information.
  2. The Race Organizer has the right to cancel or reschedule the Race in the event of Force Majeure. If the Race is cancelled and/or rescheduled due to Force Majeure, the Race Organizer is not obligated to refund the registration fees paid by Participants, and the Race Organizer is not liable for any Risks and Hazards that may arise in connection with the cancellation and/or rescheduling of the Race. Please note that Force Majeure refers to circumstances or conditions of war (whether declared or not), violence, civil unrest, strikes, epidemics, accidents, fire, flood, natural disasters, embargoes, legal reasons, or actions of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, and other similar circumstances or conditions that are beyond the Race Organizer’s reasonable ability to prevent.


The Rules & Regulations are made in Indonesian and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the Indonesian version and the English version, the Indonesian version shall prevail.
